As a Pediatric Endocrinologist, Dr. Gupta frequently encounters the question, “What can we do about screen time?” It’s a simple yet profound question that opens up numerous opportunities to educate and inspire her patients and their families.

To address this, Dr. Gupta established Phreedom Foundation, an educational platform dedicated to explaining why devices are so addictive, how they impact our health, and what steps can be taken to improve our relationship with them.

Dr. Gupta has been studying Wireless Mobile Device (WMD) addiction since 2013. Through her research, she has uncovered significant patterns in how people interact with their devices. These insights have been instrumental in shaping the mission and approach of the Phreedom Foundation.
