I really enjoyed the event. I feel like this is an event for all parents to be aware of. We live in a digital age and everything that was presented to us today would help all the parents help their children seek into the digital age in a healthy way.

I plan to use my smartphone as a resource instead of for recreation! The retreat was eye-opening.
Just by unplugging for a couple days, I slept better than I have in a long time! I highly recommend that you attend the programs by Dr. Gupta.
We plan to unplug before bed and be more mindful of our digital interactions in front of our 2 year old daughter! We learned things that we had not imagined.
Dr. Gupta shared so many positive and practice tips for digital wellness. I was surprised to see my family participate in and enjoy the retreat!

I feel like I can go on and on about all the wonderful things that have happened since ReConnect. Firstly, I left the seminar feeling so grounded and so much more aware of all the sights and smells around me. I did not even want to turn my phone back on. I have deleted my social apps, and I have also blocked all social media on my work computer. And as a result, I have stopped scrolling. I have been cleaning and exercising. I feel like I am starting to take my life back.
I enjoyed ReConnect tremendously. I had my mom hat on when I went and I brought my two daughters and I thought, they are going to get some information about them on their phones and while I was there, I thought, OH MY GOSH! This is about me too. So, it was a wake-up call to me. My family and I are on a mission now and we are going to be in the moment.
I loved ReConnect! I realized that I spent more time on social media than I thought. I have become more mindful of the time I am spending on my phone. I agree with the balance at ReConnect between the intellectual, the scientific, and the human part. I know it made a huge difference in my life.

I really enjoyed ReConnect. We got a lot of practical points and tips on how to minimize or use the tools of the mobile devices more effectively. I am trying to be more mindful and improve my behavior around WMDs. I think it was really powerful. I also wanted to point out that the compulsive use, or addiction to the use of the mobile devices is causing a lot of diseases. As a physician myself, I see that diabetes, endocrine diseases, thyroid diseases, and PCOS, all of these are on the rise. Younger and younger people in their twenties, and thirties are getting diabetes. That is because several things are getting missed like sleep, exercise, and social connections, family time is getting missed because of this addiction and that is causing a rise in the mental and physical health problems.
You moved the narrative of ReConnect into big thinking, big ideas, and very practical, habitual things that we all can implement. There was a wow moment that while we were talking more about the idea of wireless devices as being our phones, but also including the TV screens in those, because TV consumes my time.
The space that was created by hosts and experts at ReConnect was a magical space. By showing up in our present and being aware of how reactive we are in certain things and by being reactive, how we allow them to control us instead of us being in the drivers' seat. It's a key skill that can be applied at work, in relationships and many other places. So, it doesn't end with the devices. It really starts with the devices.
This was a marvelous session!
Reconnect gave me the power. It reminded me that I have the power to be present and to be conscious about what's important. The event also tests me to be the messenger of the message, tests me to speak about it, to remind people to reconnect with what is important in their lives.
I came here today a little bit resistant, like most people probably my age group. Phones didn't seem like a big issue to me. But after coming here, I realized that I am super dependent on my mobile device, maybe even a little bit addicted to social media and spending way more time on things that weren't as productive or helpful to myself. And this helped me sort of deal with that and gave me the tools to be better and be more productive for my future. I'm super thankful for that. This is awesome.
This was an extraordinary experience!

I came here to attend this amazing seminar ReConnect. I would say this was quite an experience. Everything was amazing about how it was organized and what was talked about. I think I will definitely make changes in my lifestyle, and I hope that this will help a lot of other people as well because this is an ongoing problem.
Not only did we learn about how our devices were affecting us, we learnt actionable advice on how to overcome those addictions and get to a better place, not only spiritually but also emotionally and overall in health. If you are considering this workshop, I highly recommend it because it is perhaps some of the best three hours you will spend making sure that you own your devices rather than your devices owning you.
I had an amazing experience at today's workshop on life-technology balance. I learned so many things and so many practical tips to implement in my day-to-day life to be able to reclaim some of the time that I'm losing unintentionally to my wireless mobile device. Dr. Gupta was amazing, Tara, Giovanni, and Saurel- great team, great presentation, and a great event. I loved it, and I recommend it to everybody.

ReConnect was a wonderful experience. It was very good from the kid’s point of view as well as from my point of view. I am a technologist developing some of these things, but I find myself getting distracted and missing out on the real value of life. I think your mission to give knowledge on this topic is a beautiful concept. I would like to bring this energy into our corporate culture.
ReConnect is a new understanding to grab life.

It was an amazing event! Such an eye-opener. We were looking forward to this learning, and Dr. Gupta stood no less. We got to understand how much time we spend on our devices without even knowing it.
I don't use Twitter, or Facebook or see any news. But, my habit, which I noticed after ReConnect, is to just pick up the phone for nothing, checking again and then again and again. I would like to change this habit after the session. It was an eye-opener.
ReConnect was a wonderful session. It was knowledgeable and creative.
The insights shared at ReConnect 2022 have forever shifted my thinking regarding wireless mobile device use and the effects on me as well as my family, friends and the world. Change starts with me and I’m already changing my relationship with my devices, for the better. Yet it will take practice and persistence. I have shared your expertise and the ReConnect experience with a few friends in the few short days since your seminar and each time, I’m reminded of what I must do to make profound adjustments in my life. You are a phenomenal force for good, Dr. Nidhi. I’m blessed and honored to have been an active part of your vision.

Dr. Gupta really inspired me to come and learn about reconnecting with joy and hope. I learnt tools to balance life and technology, so that I can bring better harmony back into my life.
The biggest impact was learning how much I rely on my phone for stuff that's not actually important. I definitely use it to kill boredom. Dr. Gupta really made an impact on me, and thinking about this in a different way as opposed to just hearing the statistics all the time.

ReConnect was just so eye opening. I appreciated the teachings about the mobile devices and being more conscious of that. I think everything begins with awareness. So, I am going to take all the notes that I have, and then just start applying them to my life.
We enjoyed ReConnect thoroughly. We got a lot out of it. I've decided I'm just going to start leaving my phone in the car overnight and then I am not going to mess with it till lunchtime, because honestly, I don't think anybody really needs me before lunch anyway. I need to be engaged more with the kids at that point. My smartphone is a time suck. It can really take away from relationships and community. I really appreciate what Dr. Gupta and Tara are doing to make a difference.
Everything that Dr. Gupta does and all of the passion that she has for her work has always been so moving to me. We are all so heavily distracted by everything going on in this world. It's almost impossible to avoid any of those bad news moments. ReConnect really made me think about my morning routine and just how I constantly look at my phone every day and how much it is affecting my mental health. It was very enlightening.
We aspire to empower you with knowledge about Wireless Mobile Device (WMD) dependency, so that you can transform your attitudes and practices and achieve life-technology balance.
