Our Mission
Empowering lives, one family and one screen at a time.
Our mission is about more than just reducing screen time;
it's about reclaiming a life of purpose, forging authentic connections, and nurturing the bonds that truly matter.
We are not anti-technology. We are pro-balance.
Through keynotes, workshops, advocacy, and community initiatives,
we help people reclaim focus, calm, creativity, productivity, and real-world connection.
WHY “PHREEDOM”?
- Phreedom is a blend of “phone” and “freedom.”
- Not freedom from technology.
- Freedom from compulsive technology use.
- Freedom to reclaim time, attention, calm, sleep, creativity, relationships, and real-world connection.
- We believe technology has the potential to be used as a tool, not as a trap.
CONSTANTLY CONNECTED. INCREASINGLY DISCONNECTED.
Children are struggling with attention, sleep, anxiety, and loneliness. Workplaces are battling burnout and fractured focus. Families are physically together, yet emotionally pulled apart by devices.
The data is alarming:
- 1 in 5 teens is almost constantly on social media.
- Youth anxiety and depression have surged 300%.
- Suicide rates have increased 30%.
- Academic performance in reading and math is sharply declining.
- Workplace distractions cost U.S. businesses $588 billion annually.
This is not just about screen time.
It is about what screen time is replacing:
sleep, movement, conversation, boredom,
creativity, deep focus, and human connection.
WHAT WE DO?
We Are Normalizing a Culture of Digital Wellness
Constant connectivity has become the norm.
We are helping build a new culture
where
focus, presence, and digital balance become normal again.
Schools
We help schools create healthier learning
environments through
parent education sessions,

Workplaces
We help organizations

up technology.
Advocacy
We partner with nonprofits,
coalitions,
parent groups,
and local organizations
to build real-world connection
through
events, education, advocacy, and
community engagement.

THIS IS BIGGER THAN ONE FAMILY
Across the country, families, educators, workplaces, and communities are beginning to ask an important question:
What kind of world are we creating when attention is constantly fragmented?
From phone-free school initiatives to unplug nights, parent coalitions, workplace education, and community gatherings, a growing movement is emerging around intentional technology use and restoring real-world connection.
We believe:
- life technology balance is possible
- childhood deserves protection
- boredom is healthy
- preserving time and attention is crucial
- community matters
And none of us should have to navigate this alone.
